I bought Horizon Haven in 2023 and spent the next eighteen months bringing it back — refinishing the original walnut stair, opening the rear of the house to the dining room, and outfitting every bedroom the way I'd want one set up for myself.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can usually be arranged on request — just message us a few days ahead.
How do I get into the house?
Self check-in via smart lock. You'll receive a unique door code by email the morning of arrival, valid through your check-out time. No key handoff required.
Is parking available?
Yes — off-street parking for up to three vehicles in the rear drive, plus free street parking. Larger vehicles can be parked just down the block.
Are pets allowed?
One small-to-medium dog is welcome with a $75 pet fee. Please let us know at the time of booking. The rear yard is fully fenced.
Is the house good for kids?
Absolutely. The home sleeps ten and works well for multi-generational stays. We can have a pack-n-play, high chair, and stair gate set up if you let us know in advance.
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. Inside 14 days, the first night plus cleaning is non-refundable; the rest is refunded if we can rebook your dates.
Is the Wi-Fi fast enough to work from?
Yes — gigabit fiber with an Eero mesh covering every room. There's a dedicated work nook with an external monitor and a printer.
Do you provide linens, towels, and toiletries?
Yes. Hotel-grade linens on every bed, fresh towels for every guest, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, and a starter set of trash bags and laundry pods.

House Rules

  • No parties or events — quiet hours 10 PM–8 AM out of respect for neighbors.
  • No smoking indoors. Smoking permitted on the porch with provided ash receptacle.
  • Maximum 10 guests, including any children and infants.
  • Pets welcome with prior approval and $75 fee — one dog, under 50 lbs.
  • Photo ID required for the primary guest at the time of booking.
  • Suitable for children, but the stairs are original — stair gate available on request.

Policies

  • Cancellation: full refund 14+ days out; first night + cleaning non-refundable inside 14 days.
  • Damage policy: we don't take security deposits — accidental damage waiver is included.
  • Trash & recycling: bins are in the rear drive; pickup is Tuesday mornings.
  • Departure: start the dishwasher, strip the beds, and lock the front door. That's it.
  • Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM, including the porch and yard.
  • Lost & found: we'll ship anything you leave behind at cost.
